Our research in Neuropharmacology uses experimental animal models of neurological disorders.

Our lab has vast and modern cientific apparatus for the development of our researches.

Currently, we are searching for novel pharmacological therapies of five neurological disorders:

  • Epilepsy

  • Parkinson's Disease

  • Pathological Anxiety

  • Cronic Pain

  • Alzheimer's Disease

  • Autism Spectrum Disorder

This part of neurosciences studies the drugs' effect on the Nervous System, the discovery and the development of new alternatives for the treatment of neurological disorders, besides that the side effects produced by these drugs.
